The one & only...

Sydney Weisman has “been singing for as long as I can remember.”

No surprise that, for it takes a lifetime of devotion to appreciate the very best of multiple generations – Dylan and Darin, the Gershwins, the Everlys, Rogers & Hart, Cahn, Van Heusen, Kermit The Frog.

She conveys delightful stories & gorgeous melodies, reminiscent of legends Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Eydie Gorme, Broadway’s Karen Morrow, any tap dancing musical number in a Broadway show or any MGM musical.

"What I always look forward to watching Sydney perform. Her material is interesting, surprising and fun. She is so darn likeable!" - Nancy Dussault

Sydney started singing professionally in college; since then, she has produced and performed her own show at numerous charitable fundraisers.

“What a joy to watch Sydney pull an audience right in with her charm, voice, and songs that go right to the heart and funny bone.  Cabaret is richer for her presence.” - Karen Morrow, acclaimed Broadway star, Emmy Award Winner and Master Level Performance Coach

Sydney's shows have captivated audiences at such famous Los Angeles venues as The Original Farmers Market (where she was a popular regular in their Jazz lineup) and in showcases at the famed Cinegrill at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the Gardenia.  Her recent cabaret shows including “Little Miss Broadway at 70+”  have highlighted the Arthur Newman Theater's cabaret series in Palm Desert, CA.

"Sydney was one of the top draws for our summer jazz series for more than 15 years. Her loyal fan base insisted every year that she’d be part of our lineup. Her warm, engaging and varied performances appealed to all ages. Children and older couples danced, even the bar regulars paid attention when she sang." - Ilysha Buss, Marketing Director, The Original Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax in Los Angeles

With more than 500 performances to her credit, Sydney puts meticulous thought into each performance's song selection. “When I pick a song,” Sydney says, “the first thing I connect with are the lyrics. It can be the prettiest melody you’ve ever heard, but if the lyrics don’t land, I don’t do the song.”

The reward, for those of us lucky enough to be in the audience, are engaging performances that wow fans. Happily, Sydney shares her music – as long as she’s singing her songs, we’re all the richer for it.
